Again this year, we will have a raffle as a fundraising event for the Association. The raffle provides substantial funds to the Association. Last year, the raffle netted $11,000.
The girls have some awesome incentive prizes to shoot for this year. The prizes are:
Ipad Mini for the girl that sells the most packs beyond the first pack.
$100 Target Gift Card for the girl that sells the 2nd most beyond the first pack.
4 MOA Wristbands for the girl that sells the 3rd most beyond the first pack.
2 MOA Wristbands for the girl that sells the 4th most beyond the first pack.
In addition, there is a drawing for a four pack of tickets to the Twins game vs the Cleveland Indians on Saturday August 15th. Every additional pack of tickets sold after the first one will get an entry into the drawing.
Coaches, on your Picture Night, please pick up all the tickets for your team at the registration table. . Every girl that did not opt out of the raffle when they registered will have an envelope with one pack of tickets inside. You can hand out to your players that night or at an upcoming practice. Parents, each coach has two extra packs of tickets. Contact the coach for extra packs. If extra packs are needed after that, contact your coach or me and we will get them to you. Turn in of money and stubs will be Friday, June 12.
The drawing will be on Sunday, June 28th at 7:00 PM at the Park Place Sports Bar.
Important things to keep in mind regarding the packet(s) of tickets that you receive:
When you receive a packet of 25 tickets, you are accepting responsibility for $50. Each tickets costs $2.
Each envelope will only have one pack of tickets in it. When each envelope is turned back in, it must contain one of the following combinations:
$50 cash only and 25 stubs (you keep the stub, the purchaser keeps the ticket)
A combination of stubs, cash, and unsold tickets. Cash and unsold tickets must equal $50. Example: if there are 10 unsold tickets of the pack, then there should be 15 stubs, $30, and 10 unsold tickets in the envelope.
25 unsold tickets-not the desired outcome.
Every single ticket must be returned as either an unsold ticket or as a stub with $2. Any ‘missing’ tickets are purchased by the Association.
