Softball Clinics

"Champions are made in the OFFSEASON!"

 

 

 

In House Skills Clinic

Come prepared to learn the basics of throwing, fielding and batting.  Whether you are starting from scratch or refining the skills you've been working on for years these skills will be very valuable to new and returning players.

 

This clinic will be led by CGAA coaches.

 

This is a free clinic for girls currently registered in any CGAA Softball In House program.

 

In order to participate, each player must bring their gloves.  We will need plenty of volunteers to help, so parents; bring your gloves too!

 

 Please arrive 15 minutes prior to stretch and warm-up properly.

Catching Clinic

 

Come prepared to learn the basics of catching starting from scratch or refine the skills you've been working on for years..   This clinic will be taught by CGAA Coaches.   This is a free clinic for girls currently registered in any CGAA Softball program (In House or Traveling).   In order to participate, each player must bring their glove and willingness to work hard.

   Please arrive 15 minutes prior to stretch and warm-up properly.

Coaches Clinic

There will be 2 clinics for coaches that are mandatory prior to the 2010 season   The first clinic will be taught by University of St. Thomas Head Softball Coach John Tschida.  Coaches will observe and participate in the clinic led by Coach Tschida for the Traveling players.

The second clinic will be an open practice of the Park High School softball team led by Head Coach Bob Loshek.  Coach Loshek will lead his team through a practice and then follow that with a question and answer period for coaches.

Pitching Clinics

 

Come prepared to learn the basics of pitching starting from scratch or refine the skills you've been working on for years.

This clinic will be taught by former Park High School pitching standout Darcie (Dietz) Young.   This is a free clinic for girls currently registered in any CGAA Softball program (In House or Traveling).   In order to participate, each pitcher must provide their own catcher (with mask if under 18), so bring your gloves parents! 

 

 Please arrive 15 minutes prior to stretch and warm-up properly.

This clinic will be taught by Park High School Varsity Softball coach Bob Loshek.   This is a free clinic for girls currently registered in any CGAA Softball program (In House or Traveling).   We are looking for volunteers to assist with these clinics
