GAMES CALLED WHILE STILL IN PROGRESS.
1.
If a game is called before 4 full innings the game will resume at
the point at which it was called. The game will be
rescheduled and played to completion 6 innings or 7
innings (Majors). Tie at 8:30 will use the
international tiebreaker, same if a tie at completion of
the game.
2.
If a game is called after 4 full innings, the game will be
considered a complete game. If the game is stopped in the
middle of an inning the following rules apply:
a.
If the visiting team is batting, the game score reverts back to the
last complete inning.
b.
If the home team is batting and behind in the score, the game score
reverts back to the last complete inning.
c.
If the home team is batting and takes the lead during the turn at
bat, the game score when they take the lead during that
inning is the final score.
3.
If the resulting game score is a tie, the game will be rescheduled
and played to completion 6 innings or 7 innings (Majors).
Tie at 8:30 will use the international tiebreaker,
same if a tie at completion of the game.
All cancelled
games must be made up within 1 week. If the game is not
completed within a week and there is enough information to
show that one coach did not make any attempt to make up
that game, a forfeit will be declared and the opposing
team will be awarded the victory.
Both coaches
must make every attempt to play and complete all games.
