SOFTBALL UMPIRES WANTED
The Southeast Metro Fastpitch League is looking for umpires age 13+
The SEML consists of teams from Woodbury Athletic Association, East Ridge Athletic Association, Cottage Grove Athletic Association, and St. Paul Park Athletic Association.
Umpires are used in the SEML for in-house games, ages 9 through 18.
Dates: May1st – July 24th
Days of Week: Monday through Thursday
End of Year Tournament: TBD
Times: 6:15pm-8:15pm (Game Times Vary Depending on Age, Most games last 1 ½ Hours)
Locations: Woodbury, Newport, Cottage Grove, & St. Paul Park (You can be scheduled at fields most convenient for you.)
Equipment Needed: None, all equipment will be supplied.
Training: Will be provided
Experience: No experience needed. The more experience, the higher the pay.
Pay: $25 & Up Per Game (Depending on experience & age level of the girls being umped)
We understand you may have other obligations, we can work around your schedule.

What equipment does my daughter need to play?

IF YOU PLAY IN THE DIRT -
It is MANDATORY for our In-House* softball players to wear a mask when playing any position in the dirt. Let's keep our players SAFE!!
*In-House: Tee Ball, Pitchball, Pee wee, Rookies, Minors, & Majors
HELMETS & CHIN STRAPS
All In-House players are required to provide their own batting helmet WITH a chin strap. The chin strap loop should only allow one finger between the strap and your players chin.
GLOVES, CLEATS AND BATS
All In-House players are required to provide their own gloves.
We have a limited supply of bats that can be provided to teams, however we encourage each player to have their own to eliminate the sharing of equipment.
Cleats are not required, however if you chose to outfit your daughter with cleats plastic molded cleats are allowed at all age levels.
