Eligibility Information

In accordance with ASA*USA Junior Olympic Softball, the traveling league uses the player’s age on December 31 of the previous playing year to determine which level they may play at. Check the chart below to see which age level you should be trying out for, according to your birth date. The age divisions are as follows:

* Anyone wanting to play on an older team must submit their request in writing and present their request at the October softball board meeting and be approved PRIOR to tryouts. Girls wanting to play up must complete tryouts for both age groups. You must finish in the top three on the final list of the older team to be eligible.

** Board approval is required for an 8 year old to try out for 10U.

Medical waivers must be approved by the Softball President prior to tryouts.
