Cottage Grove Wolfpack Softball

CGAA softball is very excited to partner with Julie Standering’s Minnesota Fastpitch Academy (MFA) for many of our winter clinics this year.  This is a great opportunity for the players to sharpen their skills during the off season.  The clinics will be held in the Park Activity Center and will be broken out by age groups.  The athletes will be instructed on the mechanics of the swing, throwing and receiving, and the mental aspect of the game of softball. Space will be limited and will be on a first come/first serve basis so make sure you register early to secure a spot.

The Minnesota Fastpitch Academy is a softball consulting organization committed to the development of Minnesota youth softballers of all ages through player programs for skill development, leadership development of youth and high school coaches and the support of softball organizations within Minnesota townships. This first of its kind consulting team features elite fastpitch softball training from the most experienced and accomplished fastpitch coaches and players ever assembled in the state of Minnesota.

The MFA team will also be working with our coaches prior to the clinics so that they have a solid understanding of the skills that will be taught and the drills used to teach those skills, ensuring that they can continue to develop their players next summer.

The cost for all three clinics is $35 per player to cover the instructor fees. An injury and medical treatment waiver must be completed as part of the registration process.

These clinics will be limited to In House players only.

Dates: Sundays (1/13, 1/20 and 2/10)

Times:      6:00-7:00 – Pee Wees

7:00-8:00 – Minors

8:00-9:00 – Majors
